Terms of Service

1. The service

• ContentX produces and helps you manage content (video, ads, articles, and related assets) for your brand, using automated pipelines with human review where applicable, and can schedule and publish approved content from calendars and workflows built into ContentX.
• You may connect social platforms (including YouTube via Google OAuth) so ContentX can publish, schedule, or show analytics for channels you authorize.
• Fixed-price pieces, pilots, and retainers are described at their listed prices on this site. Custom and enterprise scopes are agreed in a separate statement of work.
• Features labeled “early access” or “rolling out” may change before general availability.

2. Accounts and eligibility

• You must provide accurate registration information and keep credentials secure.
• You are responsible for activity under your account and for the brands/workspaces you create.
• You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction and must not use ContentX if prohibited by law.

3. Social connections and Google / YouTube authorization

• Connecting Google or YouTube is optional. By clicking Connect and approving Google’s consent screen, you authorize ContentX and its publishing bridge to access Google user data within the scopes you grant, as described in our Privacy Policy.
• You represent that you have the right to connect each channel (including brand accounts you manage) and to publish content to those channels.
• You can revoke Google access in your Google Account settings and disconnect channels inside ContentX. After revocation or disconnect, new publish/analytics actions using that connection will fail until you reconnect.
• Platform rules (YouTube, Google, Meta, etc.) still apply. Suspensions, quota limits, or policy enforcement by those platforms are outside ContentX’s control.
• You must not use ContentX to upload unlawful, infringing, or abusive content, or to circumvent platform or Google API policies.

4. Ownership and rights

• Your materials: you retain rights to brand assets, footage, and materials you provide. You grant ContentX a limited license to host, process, and use them solely to provide the service.
• Deliverables: for paid production engagements, on payment you own the deliverables and commercial usage rights as described in your order or SOW, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• Platform content: content you publish to YouTube or other networks remains subject to those platforms’ terms; ContentX does not claim ownership of your social posts.
• You warrant that materials you provide and content you ask us to publish are yours to use and do not infringe others’ rights.
• Nothing publishes from ContentX workflows that require approval without that approval step being completed (human or configured gate, as applicable to your plan).

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Abuse, disrupt, or reverse engineer the service except as allowed by law.
• Attempt unauthorized access to other customers’ data.
• Use Google or other API access for purposes not disclosed in our Privacy Policy or not permitted by Google’s API Services User Data Policy.
• Resell ContentX API access or OAuth tokens.
• Upload malware or illegal content.

6. Payment and cancellation

• Payments are processed by Stripe at the prices shown at checkout. Retainers renew monthly and can be cancelled anytime, effective at the end of the paid period, unless your SOW says otherwise.
• If a first cut misses the agreed brief, we re-render at no charge where that remedy applies to your order. If a pilot fails to deliver what was scoped, we make it right or refund the pilot fee as described for that offer.
• Taxes may apply based on your location.

7. Honest limits and disclaimers

• Market statistics on this site are cited third-party benchmarks, not guarantees. We do not promise specific revenue, reach, or ROAS outcomes.
• AI-generated content can be incomplete or incorrect; you are responsible for review before publishing.
• Third-party services (Google, YouTube, Stripe, Calendly, and hosting providers) have their own terms and availability.
• Except where prohibited by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement to the fullest extent permitted.
• Liability cap: our aggregate liability arising out of these Terms or the service is capped at the fees you paid to ContentX for the service in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, except for liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (for example, fraud or willful misconduct where such exclusion is void).

8. Indemnity

• You will defend and indemnify ContentX against claims arising from your content, your channels, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of platform or Google policies, except to the extent caused by our willful misconduct.

9. Privacy

• Our collection and use of personal data, including Google user data, is described in the Privacy Policy. By using ContentX you acknowledge that policy.

10. Changes

• We may update these Terms by posting a new version on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance, except where applicable law requires additional consent.

11. Governing law

• These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, excluding conflict-of-law rules, without limiting mandatory consumer protections that may apply where you live.
• Courts in Delaware shall have exclusive jurisdiction for disputes arising from these Terms, except where mandatory law gives you the right to courts in your home country.
